I was wondering the same thing. Is it really worth it in an mn6 car.
I just contacted the vette doctors this morning about tuning it. I'm not modding the engine except for halltech and npp. He said not to deter business but it's not worth it to void the powertrain warranty. Gm can tell even if but back to stock. Unless you do headers/cam to leave it alone. I like his honesty and would do business with them in the future.

there is no such technology to test if a tune has been installed and removed from the ECU

If he's not taking my money, I'm gonna go with his advise. Unless someone knows first hand returning to stock for a Powertrain repair, and not detecting it. I'm leaving it as is. There a very reputable place and know what there talking about.
