Default Notchy trans shifts

My trans was built by Cartek and has carbon fiber synchros. Is there any issue with redline atf fluid on carbon fib synch's? Im looking to smooth up shifts.

I wanted it built because it was notchy getting into 1st and reverse. When they took it apart, the original synchros looked like new and they built it anyway. The build didnt change anything.

I have since seen many posts on the same issues. If the car isnt stopped when you take it out of 1st, it is notchy getting into 1st. With reverse, half the time I have to go to 3rd or 4th and then it goes into reverse and I heard thats about the input and outputshaft speeds not being slow or stopped and going into those gears slows them down. I have been in quite a few vettes in my time and about 70% of the pre 2008's (non-6060 units) do this.

Dont shoot the messenger.

Anyway, I was looking for opinions on the trans fluid making things better.

I heard GM synchro mesh was best.

It figures when I want to demo this for people it doesnt do it.

FWIW, I saw some improvement in my 06 MZ6 trans using Royal Purple Syncromax. Also seems to help if I change the clutch fluid often.

I'm using redline D4 ATF in my 6060. It helped with the cold weather issues a bit compared to the factory fluid.
