Exhaust Question
I want to put finish my exhaust up and put on an X-pipe and headers. My question lies with the headers, will they fit in the engine compartment with out having to remove anything extra?

In the C6 the catalytic converters are right up next to the oil pan connected directly to the cast iron exhaust manifolds.
So, when you remove the cast iron exhaust manifolds and the catalytic converters, it leaves a lot of room for headers.
You may have to loosen the starter and if it's a Z06 or Z51 you will have to remove the oil lines. It really is a pretty straight forward job. Search this forum and there are some writeups with great pictures.
