I searched and got a yes and a no so now I don't know?
Question is: I just got my hands on NPP 2008 z06 h-pipe and Mufflers.
Will this bolt up to my 07 vert? Is my h-pipe the same so all I have to do is the NPP's? Is the 07 2-1/2" and 08 zo6 3"? Sorry for something that i'm sure has been discussed, but coulden't find a solid answer.
Thanx Jim

You could do basically the opposite of what I did.

What I did was have the Z06 manifolds, mid-pipes (aka cat sections) and H-pipe installed, modifying the H-pipe to mate to my stock NPP setup. After the Z06 H area, the pipes were sawed off and my original 2.5 setup mated so my factory NPP would fit.

If you have the Z06 H and mufflers, you'd essentially be doing the opposite, drop your stock X-pipe (at least it was an 'X' on my '08), then modify it to mate to the Z06 pieces.

If it were me, I'd try and locate the manifolds and cat sections, then simply do the whole thing from heads to tips.

Edit: All C6 Z06 have the dual mode exhaust. It was an option (NPP) on base cars starting in '08. Just FYI.

First; You do not have an NPP, you have a Z06 Bimode. They are not the same. All Z06's are 3.0" midpipes and overaxle pipes, all C6's are 2.5" midpipes and overaxle pipes.

Z06 exhausts will not bolt up to a C6, something will have to be cut and welded, Either the midpipe or the overaxle pipe.

And the 2.5" overaxle provides more clearance, especially for A6 cars.

Cut the 3" Z06 pipe off about 3/4" from the muffler. Cut the 2.5" pipe off as close as possible to the muffler. Stick the 2.5" pipe into the Z06 muffler and weld it. Mission Accomplished.

This is basically what I did. It's the easiest method since you can cut the mufflers off and weld/clamp the new mufflers on without having to have the car up too high or take too much off to get the mufflers out. I couldn't use the 3" pipes because of my A6. The Z06 mufflers actually have 2.5" inlets on them already anyways, the pipes neck down right at the muffler. I cut the pipe off flush and welded on a 2" long piece of 2.5" ID piping and then clamped them to the stock over-the-axle pipes.

haljensen, HOXXOH and kman0066 are all correct. I did the Z06 bi-mode exhaust with headers and the muffler mod. I also added the NPP in a box. Great setup. Loud nearly always and quiet as soon as I see Johnny/Josie Law.
