yes take it to a tuner. a crappy hand held programmer wont change fan temps anyway. alot of places will charge minimal fee to turn down fan temps, turn off torgue management, reset rev limiters etc. just keep in mind hp tuners charges $100 to unlock your computer so its gonna cost atleast that much. but that is a one time only fee.

Its not that simple.

The fans are variable speed. They are not simply on or off. You set the % speed at various engine coolant temps.

Setting the fans to come on at 190° when it has a stock 194° thermostat won't do any good. The fans will be running but the thermostat will still keep the coolant at 194°. The problem also is the fan may overheat and burn out because they are not designed to run at 100% duty cycle.

This is why I was asking what problem the OP was trying to solve.

You can get a mail order tune from ECS for $150. It is worth it.

Its a little soon to suggest a tune when the problem has not been outlined.

To the best of my knowledge, you can not change the temperatures, but you can change the percentages for each temp. range. It does require a programmer or hp tuners, etc. to effect the percentage changes.
