I decided to race last night even though the temp here in Tucson, AZ was 92 degrees. I got to the track about 7pm and made a couple runs with temps around 84 degrees and ran 12.9 at 111 so I decided to let the temps and the track cool down. I went again at 10:30pm and had a PB of 12.56 at 114.70.
Outstanding time & mph for 3100 foot altitude and a DA of almost 3800 feet!!!
You did have a pretty high barometer and a fairly cool evening, but that track is pretty darn high. Your time corrects out to 11.98 at 120.0 mph for a sea level standard day. Excellent!
My 60' was a 1.986. It really wasn't that cool either. I know the timeslip says 67 degrees but my car and the weather report on the DA calculator says it was hotter. My car said 72 degrees. At 11pm when I went home I still had the air turned on. This is the first time at this track that it hooked good when it shifted into 2nd. Usually I spin quite a bit

Again, great time for Tucson, that is absolutely outstanding.
I am going to Firebird Raceway this Friday. How much faster should I run there? Do they prep the track for TNT?
Track prep at Firebird is iffy. I always try to get there early and after tech drive straight to the staging lanes and watch them prep the track. First couple of runs are typically fine, but track tends to go away after sundown.
As far as how much better you run, depends on the weather. You had a 3800' DA, I've seen the DA at Firebird be that or even higher. I've also seen it around 300' on a very cold day. If it's in the mid 80's with a standard barometer and 19% RH, you should run around 12.4 at 116.
