will a 4L60 converter work in a 4L65 OR WHO MAKES GOOD STALL CONVERTERS FOR THE C6

Might want to look at the Yank website....they're very popular around here.

RPM Transmissions is a great source of info.

In some cases I do think that a 4L60 converter can also be used in a 4L65. Unfortunately I believe the one exception might be Corvettes though, I don't think a C5 (4L60) converter can be used in a 2005 C6 (4L65). But don't quote me.
I do believe that a 2004 GTO converter (4L60) can be used in a 2005/2006 GTO automatic (4L65).

I have a Precision Industries Vigilante, it works very well and is very reliable. A lot of guys use Yank converters as well.
FTI, Pro Torque and Circle D are among some of the others, if I ever decide to go to a higher stall I might try an FTI next time.
