Remove c6 midpipe

Remove c6 midpipe
Can I remove the C6 X-Pipe on my car and run without it to see how loud it is without removing any other part of the exhaust system? Are there any guides or can anyone explain if this is hard or if it is just a few bolts and it drops right out? Thanks.

Its easy to drop the center section out from the exhaust system. However I don't think you'll be able to run it without the center section unless you also drop out the mufflers too. The mufflers are supported by the hangers at the rear and the center section pipes just in front of the rear axle. Without the center section, I think the muffler inlet pipes will at least flop around and maybe contact the road or interfere some other way.
