I heard from someone I consider "in the know" that they leak in only a short time. I don't have any first hand knowledge other than this persons opinion.

I don't know about a short time, but some I've talked to do have leaking QA's.
I just read a thread in the C5 section about the QA1's and the people that had them seemed to love them. I'm intersted in hearing more feedback on them too.

I ordered some. Plan to install today. I would like to know who told you this and if it is an individual experience or if they are an installer/vendor who has seen systemic issues?
I got QA1's front and rear on C5 using 550 springs. We corner weighted the car after the install and the car is right at .7" lower than stock ride height. The car handles great and tracks and turns best it ever did. I think GM recommends no lower than .75" of lowering for correct camber gain and minimizing oversteer if car doen't have acceptable rake.
No leqak issues on any of mine and I had on two cars before with no problems. My installer shop told me he had heard old president and cob had returned and fired the former head guy who was running the company into the ground.
