Default Where to mount switch for cutouts?

I am trying to figure out where to mount my switch for my electric cutouts and I was wondering if anybody had some "cool" discreet places that they ended up going with and would like to share!

"discrete" = hidden??

Mine is mounted in the tombstone in the console. It is not exactly hidden, but no one ever knows what it is either.

You could also put it at the bottom of the dash, either side of the steering wheel - right where it starts to roll under.

Or pull the cig. lighter out of the center console armrest - put it there. Difficult to get to easily though.

Or, just put it in the ashtray. Flip up the ashtray cover to hide it.

If it is just an on/off switch, put a footswitch in the dead pedal.

I put mine right where the dash starts to roll under on the right side about where my knee would be, there is a small little vent spot there that I just had to widen a tad with a drill but it is a great location

Interested in which electric cutout system you have?

I like mounting the switch where it is not seen by passengers and easy to get to. I like having a bank of switches to turn many things on and off.

Like BluV, mine is on the center console tombstone piece by the arm rest lid.

Next to it is my GPS, enter destination while driving mod switch. Both look the same so it looks clean

Just like the old headlight dimmer switches, only a little higher up.

We have our MTW switch there and it's fine.

Removed ashtray and made a panel from black plastic to match surrounding. Easy to reach and completely hidden.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'm going to go with the vent in the bottom of the dash.

No need for extra plastic. Just remove the little vent which is in place there and the switch fits great. I will try and get some pics later.

Video starts out with them closed and a few revs..... Then open and a few revs.... They sound the best going through the gears though

The photos of the DMH cutouts mounted under the car are also in that thread.
