Default I need a new mass air flow sensor

Good morning Corvette faithful!

The mass air flow sensor is kaput on my '06 C6 Coupe so I need to find a new one. And seeing as though I'm a bit of a cheap skate (I prefer the term parsimonious but my wife isn't so diplomatic ) so I'm looking to procure a discounted OEM mass air flow sensor. After a quick search online, I found a site called http://gmpartsgiant.com. They seem to sell discounted OEM Corvette parts but I've never had experience with them. Has anyone heard of them? Purchased any parts from them? I don't want to patronize them until I get the respected opinion of the Corvette connoisseurs on this board. Any insights into your shopping experience with them would be greatly appreciated!

Never heard of them. How does their price compare to our forum sponsors? Be careful comparing prices until you see what a company charges for shipping. I've seen a very low price on an item but a very high price on shipping, which made the item more expensive then a competitors higher price but with lower shipping costs.

Half the folks on the forum (I exaggerate, but only slightly) have used gmpartshouse.com and/or PartsTaxi.com. Both are VERY reputable, are forum vendors and provide excellent service.

Most of the online vendors display a very low price on the part, but add a significant charge for shipping and handling. The S&H fee is not shown until you procede through checkout.

To the OP, I have plenty of those in stock and ready to ship. My shipped price to your door is $173.

How did your factory MAF sensor get killed? If it's just an overdose of K&N oil, aerosol MAF cleaner from the parts store will usually bring it back to life.
