No doubt the C5 is much cheaper but I'd still check with RPM and see what they have in stock and what they say about the conversion. Cheaper is not always better.

We would really like to help you here at BER. I believe I have sent you pricing and can resend and maybe even work on it. We aim to please.

If you dont go with us you can not go wrong with RPM for sure. Very knowledgeable, a HUGE amount of experience and just all around good guys.

If you can afford it, and plan on getting FI of some sort this is best way. If you have stockish power then a 3 rib C5 pull out diff is the way to go.

so when putting in the 06-07 you need the side covers? the 05s wont work?

cause to go this route im looking at

440 for the housing shipped from GMpartshouse
448 for the adaptor shipped from RPM
290 and 2400 for the side covers from GMpartshouse

for a total of 1430

yes you have to switch the side covers, you can look at the 09 covers they might be cheaper, its all whats in stock that dictates price, the 05 cost more

I dont know where these myths come from but there are low 9 sec C5's with C5 rears ripping down the 1/4 with 800rwhp.

I ran 959rwhp on mickey thompson drag radials for 2 1/2 years with no issue on my C5 diff in my C6. The C5 diff conversion is going to handle anything you throw at it. I ran H/C/Nitrous for a year before that at 611rwtq on drag radials too.

I've seen C6 2006+ diffs blow up at the track on head/cam power.
