Unexplained Engine Light Problems
Hey hope someone can help me....I have had problems with my engine light coming on and the dash reads engine power low and the whole car shakes. I brought it in to the dealer and they changed the cadillac converter because they said I didn't drive it enough. So ok it was working again. Until about a year later and I was driving the car this time. Went to start it up and again shaking and engine power low. Bring it back in and the dealership and now my car had a problem with the throttle position sensor. They told me because it had such low mileage that it had to be reprogrammed it forgot how to do something? I thought you only have to reproram it if you do something major to your car. So they do that and replace evap vent solenoid and it worked for a month and now the same thing again...grr what is going on! I think they just want to keep charging me more money...please if anyone can help me figure this out that would be great.
