check engine light on car idels rough

my 2008 ls3 is ideling rough and the cel is on i cleaned the k@n filter its was dirty but i took off the throttle body and with a flash light i could see what looked like a varnish and touched my finger on it and looked brown but smelled like gas 100 mile ago i stuck some injector cleaner in it and the code is 0174 lean bank2 do i need a new oxygen sensors and is 2 the left side help please

Are you sure everything is put back properly? A vacuum leak will cause a lean condition.

Both sides can be running lean and Side 2 is just lean enough to set the P0174 code. Do you have a catch can? Any mods or is it still still stock other than the K&N?

its has long tube headers it has 170 /0 thermastat it has varoom forces air and was tuned by drm 2 years ago and ran fine till now , no catch can added

It could be an O2 sensor and make sure there are no vacuum leaks. If you can, get it scanned.
