Mine did not come with a template either, (ZR1 spoiler) I just put lipstick on the new studs to give me a mark, don't forget a little tap with a center punch to make sure the bit does not walk, and lined up the studs with the original holes.
May have to enlarge the holes a little, but the spoiler should easily cover them. Yeah I know, I hated drilling into my Vette the first time too!
Drilling in your vette got you scared?!? I cut the frame rails off the front with a sawzall!!!! HAHAHAHAHA
Yeah, that was my first mod, and wife standing over me saying "I can't believe your doing this!" Glad I could not hear her over the drill!
She really had a fit when I took the radio apart to install the Lockpic and reverse camera! "It will never work again" 30 minutes later I had it back in that shut her up!
I purchased a full length gm spoiler from a forum member and the template was not in the package. If anyone has one I would really apreciate a copy.
Thanks,
T.J.
I got a full length from Gene Culley and it came with a template which made the job easy as it was perfect. I threw it out but maybe if youy contact him he can get a copy to you.
