my c6 m6 402 forged motor dyno just under 400rwhp.
tf 220 heads 72cc out of box
blower cam ecs
kooks 17/8 lt bullets
car is built for boost 8.85 compression.
what can i do to get more power? like to have 440-450rwhp before
boost. if i mill heads down to 62 cc how much will that help.
any advice.
umm I would just wait for the boost and not waste your money on making more power on motor.
Yup. No sense in fretting over #'s at this point. Low compression and a cam designed to work well with a blower sometimes won't yield good n/a numbers. Could be a stingy dyno too. With compression that low, you should be able to really pour the coals to it boost wise. Even with the low numbers, I'd bet it's still one torquey bitch on the street as is.

I could see 9.5-9.8:1 on 900rwhp but 8.8 is just killing VE. If you're not at sea level you want more than 9.8. Todays fuel options make low compression like that just plain overdone.

what he said
Others will run higher compression but when your dealing with pump gas better safe than sorry. A meth kit, race fuel, octane adders/boosters... E85...all ways to fight detonation but simpler is better IMO
I would rather turn up the boost and not have to worry about as much..
Its not that it cant be done, its just what is better suited for safer and more reliable...
