If you are doing open track the Stoptech brakes are much better than the GM setup... the rotors will last much longer and are more durable. PLUS there is a much larger pad selection for you. We have customers who open track monthly and they can almost go through a whole season with 1 set of rotors.

Price please on a set for c6 z06. I will be doing a few track days a year, may be eight or so, how will these hold up. I will also need race grade pads and street pads. Also, are these floating rotors?

If your going to be doing that many track days it's definitely worth it to upgrade the brakes as the consumables will save you money in the long run. I have a customer who goes to Laguna Seca every month and he gets through the season with 1 set of rotors.
