Default 08 ls3...!

Hey all. I have searched for a while and I have read Ranger's Z06 topics. I am still unable to find any information on stock LS3 Z-51 GY runflats mn6 launch rpm for either prepped track or un-prepped/street. Can anyone shed some light on this or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

It's all trial and error there. You can only learn this well by experience. A well prepped cold track is not necessarily better than a poorly prepped hot track. Watch a few experienced guys launch before your first pass to see how aggressive they are. Then make your pass and adjust as necessary.

There is no magic bullet available.

I was able to make my (harder compound non Z51) runflats dead hook back when I was stock/nearly stock even in 45 degree weather but 1) I'm an LS2 automatic and 2) my track's prep was pretty good back then.
It takes a lot of finesse with a manual on stock tires and can be quite frustrating but it can be done.

i have found the z51 runflatts work best at 24lbs hot, so on the ride to the track keep adjusting to 24lbs hot, and its good for all street driving traction, launch like you are leaving a red light or stop sign quickly, try the highest rpm with a quick smooth clutch release, not dumping or side stepping the clutch, or ridding, while rolling into the throttle at the rate of speed to keep traction but not boiling the clutch fluid, practice at every stop in your day to day driving

Dennis & Marc have both run outstanding 60 foot times with the stock run craps Joe G also has some experience properly launching a MN6 too.

BUT ..... Just a word of caution! If you feel a hint of wheel hop... LIFT off the throttle. There have been many individuals who have destroyed their rear launching a MN6 and tried to "drive through" wheel hop instead of lifting off the gas. Good luck
