Default Changing headlamp bulbs

Hey everyone,

I'm having a tough time changing out the interior light bulbs that are under the rearview mirror ... the ones that come on when you open doors to your c6.

I'm trying to change them out for white led's but those suckers are on their pretty tight! I'm even carefully using needle point pliers and that isn't working out well.

Any suggestions??

Wrap some painters tape around the bulb and pull.

EDIT TO CLARIFY
Wrap the tape around the bulb LEAVING a piece long enough to pull the bulb out (pulling it straight down).

Dude, you're messin' with my mind. I come in here with my mind focused like a laser beam to help you with changing out your headlamp bulbs, and you throw me a ringer by asking about some bulbs on your mirror. I sure hope you're not driving at night and relying on your mirror lights to guide you safely to your destination.

Great suggestion xedes! I'll try that this afternoon!

JoesC5 ... sorry for the confusion. I meant to say I wanted to replace the map lights under the rearview mirror. Oh, and my headlamps on the outside are working fine! I'll let you know if anything shuts down there!
