C6 Automatic shift ****
Got into my car last evening... went to put the car into gear and two pieces of plastic came off the shifter ****... the silver piece on the top and the plastic piece that you depress to move the shifter.
I seemed to have snapped it back together and then called the dealer as it is on warranty.
My question.... has this happened to anyone else here?
It's pathetic that a car that cost this much can fall apart from simple use

Find a GM parts wholesaler if you drive your car daily and plan to keep your car beyond the warranty period. Have a second car for the times that the part you need takes a week to get to you cuz no friggen dealer within 2hrs has the part, bolt or gasket. /thread
