First oil change

I just purchased a 2011 Grand Sport and have heard varying mileages for the first oil change. 500,1000,2500,...Which is the correct mileage for the first oil change ?

There really is no 'correct' mileage to do the first oil/filter change as everyone has differing opinions/beliefs on the topic.
I did my first one at roughly 600-700 miles but some will still debate that unless you're doing it much sooner (say, at even 100 miles) then there is no difference between doing it at 700 than there would be at 3000.

i did mine at 500 and inserted a magnentic oil plug... the second and third was at 2500 ... now i am at the 5k mark.
