Default inspection

haven't really driven my car since DEC 2009, picked it up yesterday the inspection sticker expired 2/11, 6 months overdue, last time it was inspected it passed no problem bolt/ons only, this time a nice big cam and bolt/ons, it passed and is good till 2/13

And after California, New Jersey is one of the most strict states too.

I knew it would pass as you have cats on the car and a GREAT tuner (ie: Julio at Cartek Racing) that knows exactly what he's doing, makes total sense.

Great news! One thing I love about FL...no inspections.

Was it a sniffer or obdii test?

NC has OBDCII inspections - but they visual the cats. Long Tubes aren't an option.

Hoxxoh had great results with the z06 manifolds and mid pipe...he got in the 10's with them!

That's how NJ is as well, OBDII but then they usually also break out the mirrors for the underside as well.

nope Christie signed a new bill, emission test only in 2010 i found it on the njmvc web site, they didn't check lights brakes nothing and its a 2 year sticker

True, but cats are part of emissions. I think it's all just a luck of the draw and a 'case by case' basis whether the guy/girl wants to grab the mirror or not.
You have cats so you would've been fine either way of course.

Yeah I knew that part was now in effect. But what that also might do now is encourage the cops/troopers out on the road to give more 'equipment violation' tickets (which they should if a vehicle is truly unsafe). I just don't want them to start freely handing them out more for things like slightly worn drag radials or no front plates.
