I put a whole Z06 system on mine. No issues, bolted right up. Manifolds to tips, M6

exhaust stuff like this is super easy
use slip on exhaust pipe adapters and stainless band clamps to put the z06 mufflers on the 2.5" overaxle pipes
the hardest part is cutting the mufflers off the pipes (which is really simple) go to an auto parts store and rent a chain style pipe cutter
if you need to have on/off for the npp actuators, there are many aftermarket units to add it to a non npp car
note: when cutting make sure you leave enough pipe on the Z06 mufflers so you can get the adapters and clamps on - and if you dont intend to do anything with the original mufflers try to cut as close to the muffler to retain as much of the 2.5" pipes as possible
do one side at a time and compare the total reassembled dimensions of your new axle and muffler assembly to the uncut original to get it as close as possible then do the other side and compare. THEN install on the car
Good luck!

C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
You do realize this is a 7 year old thread that was last visited 2 years ago.
But to answer your question, the drone will remain and you will get about a 10-12HP increase.
The change to Z06 manifolds, downpipes, and H pipe is a very popular mod. How you hook it up from there to the tips is full of different opinions.
