Default Help, "NO FOB DETECTED"

hey guys, I have an 08 thats been sitting for a year, batterys been dead...

Anyways, I charge up the Battery (and put Booster Pak on it) try and Start it and get error "No Fobs Detected" I have the original fob and key.

I put key in Trunk and do the fob reprogram procedure and program the fob.
The Car still does not recognize the fob, although it does let me put the car in accessory mode and play the Radio, open/close the windows/doors... the radio stations and memory buttons 1+2 both still hold their memory.

I tried changing the battery in the remote 2 times still nothing.
Any ideas?

Does the FOB work when you place it in the slot inside of your glove box?

Do you have any recharging devices in the cabin?

Do you have the FOB in the same pocket as your cell phone.

Not seeing the FOB does NOT MEAN you need to reprogram the FOB to the car. It could be anything I previously mentioned of a bad FOB battery.

Have you put the fob in the slot in the glove box, with buttons pointed toward the passenger side of the car, and tried to start the car?

Um...

With the FOB in the slot, it should start the car. The slot allows you to get it running with a dead FOB battery.

If you got no fob detected WITH the FOB in the slot, then the FOB has been run through the wash, has a dead battery, or gone bad.

If the FOB is doing it now AFTER you have tried to program it, then it might behoove you to replace the battery in the FOB and try the LONG programming again.

Changed battery and reprogramed it again, doors unlock, windows up down, accesory works, radio works... go to start car and everything goes dead. theres a slight clicking inside the dash, but thats it. Mileage lights up, guages sweep but when i try to start it loses it all?

It Doeswnt Say anything about the fobs anymore...

Ok, you're closer! Now it sounds like you've killed your car battery doing all of the programming! Get a charger on that thing and try and start it.

Maybe the connections at the battery. Try loosening and then re tightening the bolts on the terminals.

Grr.....

Check the terminals. Twist them hard. Do they move at all? Any signs of green corrosion on them?
