got the headers on. few questions
yesterday went and installed some headers on the c6, pretty happy with the results definately feel a lot more torque in the low end and mid range, loud as all hell more than my liking with the corsa extremes but i suppose i could live with it, got some dtc codes as expected ran them it says all pertaining to sensor 2 of the o2 sensors i hope that means teh rears as im assuming bank refers to left or right side correct?
no lean or rich codes altho car is definately running pig rich. how soon is a dyno tune required? the install went smooth way easier than putting on the axle back exhaust for some reason lol. i got obx brand as i dont see in paying an exponential amount for approx same gains as far as quality the welds seem sub par but will work ive had obx on my other cars and theyve held up just fine. now with the money i just saved i can buy a fast intake manifold so im pretty happy with the results
are they coated or heat wrapped? you may run into problems with a melted starter solenoid shortly. i only had my headers on for 3 months before i started getting a "click" at the press of the start button and no cranking. the uncoated kooks long tubes melted the starter solenoid internally.
just a heads up
ohh i never got mine tuned and its fine. optimal? no. but its fine! (i'm boosting soon and didn't want to waste $ on an NA tune...rather use that $ for boost!)
