Default New GS pulls left a little

I have a new 2011 GS that when pulls ever so slightly left when I take my hands off the wheel. Perhaps it's just a placebo effect, but the left front wheel seems to have more brake dust. Obviously I want to take the car into the dealer to look at this, but has anyone else heard of this? Quite disappointing in a car with ~600Mi.

Also, that oily smell, how long does that last? I noticed it in a test drive as well, so I know it's not just my car doing it. Is it from the air filter? The air scoop seems to have a little spray emanating from it. Do they oil those filters at the factory? It's strong enough to smell in the cockpit.

I got a 500 mile GS with no oil smell, is it burnt oil like maybe some one dropped something on the exhaust when checking the oil level? As far as the pull mine tracks different then any car I have owned before, but then again I never had a full sized go cart before. I am sure the deal would re-aline the car for you, have seen some other posts regarding that here as well.

I assume your testing the car on a flat road since most highways are crowned. Is the wheel straight? The dealership, which you should try to avoid if necessary, should align it under warranty. Never heard of an oily smell on new Vettes. Hopefully the dealer can sort that out. Good luck.

oil what filters on a stock, brand new car? not the cabin filter, and not the air filter. the only oil you may be smelling (or should be smelling ) is sometimes after an oil change a drop or two hits the exhaust manifold and takes awhile to go away, like a 50-100 miles or so of driving. what you may be seeing from your vents is condensation from a humid day. happens all the time. but not the oil smell.

alignment or tire pressure. chk latter with a hand-held tire gauge when tires are cold, early in the morning. that way you'll eliminate that it's differing tire pressures.
