Sound is STRICTLY subjective, that's up to you to decide.
You can go to the various manufacturer's sites and see if they have any sound clips or even go to You Tube and punch in 'Corvette C6 with Corsa', or 'Corvette C6 with Magnaflow', 'with Borla', 'with B&B' etc. etc. for some samples though it won't be exactly like it will be in person.
Again personal choice, you'll get MUCH more power from headers alone than you would from a cat back exhaust alone but ultimately doing both will yield the most gains (and most cost and most loudness).
I chose to do headers/X-pipe only and keep the stock cat back saving both money and keeping the volume down which minimizes attention from the wrong people (law enforcers).
