Default Vibration Question

I went to Carlisle this weekend, and had a great time. I will definately do it again. Here's my question when car is running a speed of 65 to 70car feels good. When I get 77 or greater I feel bad vibration. I had tires balanced about 2500 miles ago. Yes, I do have the goodyear F1 tires with 12,000. Should I be feeling this vibration? Did I loose a weight to cause this vibration, or is this normal for Goodyear tires with 12k on them? Last queston, should I spend the money to get them balanced again? What should I do to solve problem?

Tks Tim

First check to see if it's engine speed or vehicle speed. If it's engine speed, you may want to consider a flywheel or driveshaft balance problem. If it's carvspeed, I would focus on tires.

Shouldn't be any vibration. It would probably be a good idea to find a good tire shop, like Discount/America's Tire, etc, that has a Hunter Road Force balancer. Get the front wheels/tires checked for runout and road force balance them. If they're salvageable this should do it. If not, might need new wheels and/or tires or try the rears too. Good luck.
