Default Catch Can news

Our Catch can is one step closer to being released..
initial testing indicates very goos results Here is the quote:

I'm happy to say your can caught about 1.2 oz. that's compared to the .78 oz that the can I'm currently using.

We refined the can even further from that initial prototype

Bracket choice will be aluminum or 304 ss, the ss will be more money
We are offering ss fitting on the can with an option for black fittings instead. The hose fittings are black. we use Red Horse..excellent quality and finish on them.

this should be interesting
is your can more compact?
have to say i did like the quality of the EE i just installed
if it were a tad bit smaller, it would be totally awesome (ohh and lighter too if you are into that sorta thing)

Yes, smaller would be nice. Don't think anyone really needs a 20oz. catch can.

Less expensive is also nice...

Will you have the painted options and either stainless or chrome fitings? The copper fittings on the other can are "nasty" looking under the hood. JMHO

We are using -an fittings,. they are black and very nice.
The can is 7-8 inches long and about 3.5" around.. The volume has something to so with the effectiveness so we didn't want to make it to small.
Paint options will be color matched to you car or we can do a polished one as well... it will be $70 more for the polish .. we use a professional service -Tims of Portland

A can 3.5 D x 7 L holds slightly over a quart. At 1.2 oz per 3200 miles the can won't even be 1/4 full in 20K mi. That'd be almost maintenance free for some people and drain at oil change time for the rest

We are starting to take pre-orders now for color choices....

The can has been tested to be the most effective.

We have a raw type brushed aluminum finish, matched to you car paint or polished.

the polished finish will be $40 more.. the others are free.

Right now we're looking at stainless fittings on the can and black hose fittings

I will snap one here if a few minutes and post it, I dont have it listed yet on the website.

I am just trying to get an idea of what colors are going to be wanted so I can do a few of them at a time. I'm using GM paint to match correctly and my spray gun and changing colors and cleanup is a pia to do one can at a time...LOL

Subscribed to this since I have been wanting one for a while (in Victory Red of course) so I hope the price is right!

Default proto-type can

This can has been beat up a bit and the two different color fittings on top are part of the process of deciding what to go with...LOL but this will give you an idea of the final product... its about 7"-8" long

I'm definitely interested. My car came with the Cartek catch can, which I know many people have/had this unit, but I have now been reading that it's not a very effective set up(?) I was also looking at the EE can too. I'll wait for more info and pics before making my decision on which can to switch to. (if i decide it's even worth switching)

PS: I'd be interested in as much black as you can use on the kit.

I can/will offer the black fittings on the can..they are more than twice as expensive as the stainless ones and we were trying to keep costs down.. ( whole point of the can really;most effective for the least amount)

The pushlock hose ends are black though right now.. not sure if stainless will be an option on them yet.. sourcing them so they don't cost and arm and leg right now.. isn't looking good.. the black one weren't cheap either but we're using Redhorse and anyone who has seen them really likes the finish on them...

right now we've got victory red brushed aluminum and black as the predominent orders

I will be interested in all black. You may have mentioned it already, but what kind of hoses are you planning on using with the AN fittings? What type of mount and where?

Is there a web site where we can get more insight into your catch can: internal construction, price, mounting bracket, available hose kit, etc.?

Actually, it would be better for us to see pictures of the INSIDE of the can. The outside can be sleek and pretty, but, that is not where the efficiency is. Let's see the inside setup?

I'm interested but what is the price and where does it mount? I can't find it on your website.
