My A/C system seems not to be working I had to recently replace the radiator since the plastic tank cracked on it and go the new one. Well installing back the condenser I noticed that there was a crack in it so I welded it and installed everything back together.
The problem I have is how do I trick the low pressure switch in order to have the compressor kick on to take the R-134a. Could someone please provide me the location of the switch please and what to do exactly?
Have you pulled a vacuum on the system to remove non-condensibles? If not you will need a vacuum pump, refrigerant gauges and a micron gauge and to pull it down to at least 500 microns. With a vacuum on the system, you should be able to weigh in the correct amount of refrigerant, the system will just suck it in.
Yes I vacuum the system but it seems like the compressor is not kicking on and thus not sucking the r134a into the cooling system? I know there the low pressure switch which if it drops a certain amount of PSI's then it will not engage the system just in case. There must be a guide for this for someone to help me please!
