Well I thought I would share some photos of a car that we have been working on for a while. It started with a concept drawing and a 2005 Corvette convertible. The idea was to take the Corvette to the next level as far as design. The idea was shown to several designers in the Automotive world and needless to say they all thought it was a great idea. So began the journey, it was an even bigger undertaking then we thought. The idea was to change the roof line on the car and leave the rest of it alone.
We started by cutting 3.5" off the windshield (by the way we went through 8 windshields before we got it). Then we had to have new side and quarter glass made (another big expense). The rear window also had to be made for this car. We then had to re-design the iterior of the car because of the modification. The car will be wrapped in a light creme leather, this will compliment the Rolls Royce blue that we painted the car.
The engine was also addressed, we bought a brand new LS7 and shipped it to Katech to do there magic. We also installed a APS twin turbo kit as well. Car should make a little bit of power.
Finally the suspension was replace with Pfadt coil overs and sway bars. The brakes where replace with Brembo 8 piston fronts and 4 piston rears. All this is riding on Carbon fibre rims from Dymag.
Why did you choose to go turbo with an LS7 if you were buying a motor new instead of just doing a turbo LS3 or something? Save a lot of money and still make 800rwhp without breaking a sweat.

Lookin good
At the time we where selling the APS kits and the customer wanted the big motor with the turbos.
I honestly dont think there was much of a bugetary concern on this car. Some people have the ability to do what they want without a need to look at the books. People come to them for $25,000-$30,000 interior packages for the hell of it.
Car looks amazing! Cant wait to see it completed.
