M2W vs warranty

Salesman advices against the M2W as it may cause an "event code" that could jeopardize the warranty.

Never got any codes. I dont see how it could cause any.

The original M2W was developed in cooperation with GM engineers. It doesn't do anything bad and is in use in thousands of cars. Maybe you should find a different salesman.......or even different dealer.

I've had the foot-switch MTW on our 2009 from the first week, no issues. Car has been into the dealer for warranty work several times on other items.

Hes an idiot just like the majority of car salesmen.
I remember hearing one at a porsche dealership bragging to a prospective customer about how he owned a boxster and added an aftermarket exhaust, so it wasnt street legal anymore and he was going to buy a second boxster for the street...

Haha! I would think he'd want to invest in the $18,000 aftermarket Boxster exhaust quick-disconnect system. Nuts & Bolts from Porsche Design Inc. and all that.
