ac clutch
2005 Coupe with 92,000 mi. While driving home from a car show, ac clutch fell off! Any ideas what might have caused this or has this happened to anyone else?
Spoke with GM engineer at Carlisle PA and said he never heard of it happening. Didn't offer any help.

The clutch fits on a splined shaft and is held in place by a screw with a Torx T30 head. Thread-locker is applied at the factory. With the screw out, the clutch can be removed without a puller.
