I have a C6-06 LS2 M6. I have only installed Lingenfelter CAI, Corsa Sports Exhaust including x pipe, switched to synthetic oil. Nothing else. What kind of dyno number should I put down RWHP? Can I have a tune without messing warranty up? If I tune how much more would I get out of it? Just trying to figure if it would benifit me or just leave well enough alone. Thanks for any imput.
First, you didn't "switch to synthetic" as that's all you should've been using from the get-go.
You're probably making around 345-350rwhp
A tune will pick up 10-15rwhp, increase part throttle response, increase mpg by about 2-3 and make general driving more enjoyable as everything about the car will just work a bit better. I believe a tune is one of the best things you can do.
A tune WILL void your powertrain warranty, but no other aspect of your warranty.
It comes with synthetic oil from the factory. (well the LS3 does so im assuming)
A tune will void the warranty.
A Dyno tune will make a big difference to take advantage of the increased flow, and also I believe Torque management being tuned out will help alot. (from what I have read)
Not totally sure, but I think stock LS2's dyno at 345 RWHP or so.
Not sure how much the mods/tune will add exactly.
I agree with the above, 340-350 should be about right. Tune can give 10-15 more to the wheels. It's probably not worth the expense to tune at this point, especially if you plan on doing more mods in the future.
You might want to wait on dyno tune, if you got the mod bug you'll definitely want to change that crappy LS2 intake manifold for a FAST, which will gain you nearly as much as the headers. Then tune
