Default Stock motor mount crack

Thought I'd throw this out there in case it helps anyone.

Recently added significant HP & TQ to my 08' C6Z51. As part of the build, the builder suggested new motor mounts. I researched the available options and went with Hinson motor mounts (which are very, very nice).

Glad he suggested changing mounts, here's what one of my stock ones looked like.

I'm interested in the new hinson mounts but I'm worried about the ease of installation with the motor still in the car. I just did the headers this past weekend and it didn't look too difficult to access them.

Asked my shop and they said they were very straight forward, FWIW. Keep in mind they have all of the gadgets/tools/lifts etc - not sure what you're situation is.

I can say that so far, I am very pleased with the product. Holds the engine very solidly, but not to the point of rattling the teeth with the HP/TQ I have. A solid investment. If I might add, another great "inexpensive" thing is a MGW shifter. I bought mine on here NIB from a gentleman, and the difference over stock adds so much to the set-up and driving it's amazing.
