Service Active Handling but no code???

Service Active Handling but no code???

Yesterday back to work after lunch I got the dreaded service active handling message with the illuminated icon on the cluster. Well, got in the car after work and drove home with no message or icon. Got home, put the battery on a charger to make sure it wasn't a low battery gremlin, and proceeded to hook up my Predator handheld. Once in diagnostics, it came back with no trouble codes present. Shouldn't it have thrown a code if there is/was an issue? I tried it a couple times to make sure.

Most hand-held code readers will not read the other modules other than the PCM/ECU. You'll need a Tech2 or other that will read the other modules.

Man that sucks. I drove to work this morning and no issues so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
