Default Window Height/Alignment Adjustment?

I am having trouble finding a good procedure or how to, so this must be a fairly rare problem. The front edge of my window is hitting the weather stripping when I close the door. I am thinking I will have to take apart the door and re-set the window. Anyone want to confirm/deny? I realize there is tip in adjustment at the bottom, but I need height or forward/aft adjustment.

I've attached a picture showing the door interfering (the door is resting "shut" on the weather stripping here).

Thanks in advance.

Maybe I'm not understanding but.....the window shouldn't be "up" when you close the door so it should not even be in a position to hit the weatherstrip.

Is the window not indexing down and up when you open and close the door?

I damaged my door and had a friend that owns a body shop fix the paint, well they removed the window and inner panels and when i got it back I had the same proble, took it to him and he did adjust the window where it bolts to the regulator and it now fits perfect. i think u need the same.

Doesn't sound like an indexing problem

The window is indexing, and I tried reindexing (holding up all the way for 3 seconds twice), with no luck. It's only hitting the front half or so.

randy500, thanks. Just to verify (before I rip my door apart), he had to take the door apart to make the adjustment, right?

Thanks for the help.

My drivers side window indexes but has the same problem, I had a new roof put on (recall) and now have the same issue. Wondering how to clear this up as well?
