Service Charging System
I had to change my plugs back to Delco from NGK after my cam install on my LS2. The "Service Charging System" warning and beeping at every stop was driving me crazy. In fact, when I went to Jeremy at HP Sales he told me that some cars have this problem after a cam install and some don't
My questions...
Why did it do that and how does changing the spark plug make a difference to this message????

Anyone?
Not sure what the cam change would have to do with it?
I ran NGK's with MDS wires in both an 05 C6 (headers, intake etc) and the 06 C6 (cam, heads, turbo's, exhaust) with zero problems. To this day I still have a hard time believing the plugs are the issue with the SCS warning? Although others swear they cannot run NGk's?
If the headers are uncoated/wapped the heat could have caused damage to the starter solenoid. Happened to me! Swapped starter (aka new stater and solenoid) wrapped pass. side header, and voila!
