Default Staying cool...

In light of previous thread, Looking to keep my slightly modified base 07 C6 A6 w/Z06 diff, cooler...

Spirited DD in hot So.FL. Plan to track in the future tho.

I can't remember tho... Thought I heard there is an internal TOC in the base's radiator?

I know RSD makes a radiator with an EOC & TOC but I heard the coolant isn't as efficient and an external EOC like the Z06s eng oil cooler mounted externally is preferred

Do we have dual fans or single?

Thanks guys.

AFAIK, any C6 with the auto tranny will have a tranny cooler in the radiator. Most people who want more cooling will add a B&M stacked plate cooler or some other good brand, in series with the stock radiator cooler, after the fluid leave the radiator. But I don't recall which line goes in and which line comes out.

Try to avoid cutting any lines, use hoses/clamps or appropriate fittings.

The Z06 engine oil cooler is easy to install and generally does a good job.
