2005 Defroster door problem. The hole dash was taken out to fix at dealer.
Looking at the old defroster door it was plain to me that it was a design problem, the new one was beefed up where the old one failed. It was the second one [and a 2005] that dealer had done. E-mailed Bowling Green and they said sorry call customer assistance.
Is there an e-mail address to Chevrolet for problems like this? Very expensive and I feel there should be compensation of some sort because it was that way when I bought it from Corvette Mike's?

You bought a 7 year old used car and expect a Warranty repair? GM doesn't claim that the car is unbreakable or that it'll last forever.

If you ever looked at the Consumer's report on Corvette's you would see under reliability.... poor.... Design failures happen all the time, some don't live to tell about it. Design failure is much different than old age failures. If you were an engineer you would know that. Thats why I have a new truck for a reliable vehicle. How many defroster doors have you ever heard of on any car blowing up?
I also have a 64 Corvette that is more reliable than the newer one.
The point is, GM ain't gonna pay for your repairs. In addition to the car being long out of warranty, GM's legal position is that they are not responsible for any design errors prior to the bankruptcy. There have been other design problems on out-of-warranty cars, GM simply says that's the fault of the old GM. I have not yet heard of anyone beating that argument in court.
