Default Corvette Mods FOG Light Question(s)

CM: I left you a voicemail tonight - figured I'd put the question out here too..

Ok - installing the Fog Light Kit from Corvette Mods (By the way, the headlights installed great and they are fantastic)

I have 2 concerns/problems

1) I can't get any light out of the bulb. The large red connector from the ballast is connected to the the car - where the bulb came out of I plugged that part in the ballast.

The other 2 connectors I have plugged into the bulb connector - nothing. I only have 1 side connected (so I could figure out how to put it all back together). WHen I turn on the fogs the factory works fine but the HID does not. I unplugged the ballast and plugged it back to factory and the factory bulb worked fine.

I tried the 2nd HID and same thing - nothing. This leads me to believe I am doing something wrong.. Any ideas?

2) THe bulb itself really doesn't seat well inside the lens. I mean, it goes in there but it seems it could come out fairly easily. Am I missing something here?

SO far - I've done the LED's and the headlights - all good! Very pleased. Just really want to get the fogs done and button this baby back up.

As always, I appreciate any and all help!

David

Dave

Your polarity is incorrect. Reverse the harness from your car to the red wire from the ballast. Just pull it apart, turn 180, reinstall

Worked like a charm, or should I say a LIGHT! LOOKS AWESOME. Very noticeable difference.

I just showered because I did not expect to hear back from you at nearly midnight. But I am heading down to do the other side!

You rock! I emailed you a couple quick questions too..

Thanks!

i just experienced the same problem.

why not make the clip so it attaches the way you would think to attach it?

i should have pics of my stealth DRLs, clear side marker lenses, and HID fogs with GT2 yellow covers by tomorrow! (if i can figure out how to upload pics)
