2008 Headlamp lens replacement

Does it really take 4.5hrs to replace a headlamp lens on a C6?

That's pretty close. You have to remove the front bumper and the front fender. It's a job but not too bad.

I saw posted that just the fenders need to be removed?

I have never taken just the fenders off without the front bumper coming off as well. I wouldn't try it either.

Are you talking about just the assembly or the assembly then replace the lens of the assembly?

Just the lens. The drivers side lens has started to spider crack as well as the fog lamps. GM is doing it under warranty. 4.5 hrs just seemed a little much, but if that is the process maybe not.

the lens needs to cure for like 24 hours so im surprised its being done that quick... i can remove a headlight in 30 mins.
