Default Header Comparsions

Question?
Stock C6-2006 LS2
Hx: Only Mod Lingenfelter CAI & Corsa Sports Exhaust.

Using one of these manufacturers who has the best dyno results. My plan for now would be using 1-7/8 Header with high flow cats 3" cross pipe reduced down to 2-1/2 to match up with axle back corsa sports for now.

Which one of these would give me the best results on the dyno? LG vs. Kooks vs. Americian Racing Headers.

Thanks for you suggestion
TIM$VETT

I forgot to say I'm not looking to start a manufacturers war. He said she said. I'm looking for some down to earth good or the best as far as results. Aa far as I'm concerned they are all good. If i'm going to pay good money I would hate to purchase one and find out later that one of the others had better results. I'm trying to learn to ask good honest questions.

Again Thanks for all input.

Agreed. I've used Kooks and AR. Both top notch

I have Kooks and like them a lot, but I have read some where on here that the LG's may give you a "little" more on the dyno due to the collector design. As long as you have a good tuner, you will be good to go.

Headers will all dyno similar. Bent tubes only have so much engineering in them

My recommendation would be OBX. No need to pay more if all you're looking for is power.

I agree, they work just fine. Problem is they dont make kits for the 09+ exhaust systems, they would sell more if they did.

I wasn't aware 09+ needed something different. What's the change?

rear section of the midpipe is different and the axle back is different. Made some changes to the rear cradle from what I understand.

1 3/4" tube size for more torque and same hp from what I have "read here" from people who have tested a few; makes sense too. Torque is what really gets a car out of the hole and from point A to point B faster!! Just like heads, bigger holes are not aways better for performance. Now if you had a blower than the 1 7/8" may do you better.

Default Decision Made

I commited to going with ARH. I talked to Kooks and LG and ARH. After recieving emails I recieved a phone call from ARH. We had a long talk and he convinced me he had a good package. Just recieving a call late at night meant something to me personnally. I'm going with 1-7/8" Primaries with 3" Merge Collectors, 3" X 3" X-Pipe (With Cats). He said I should have no problems going with this set up. I told him tks. Can't beat that. I do want to extend my thanks for all the reply to my thread. Thanks brothers and sisters.

1 3/4" Long Tube Pro LG's. Longest primaries of any of the headers along with merge collector, gives a lot of increase torque in mid-range. I picked up 26 rwhp, but more importantly 39 rwtq and this is without a tune.

Why 1 7/8",unless you are going to add a SC.1 3/4" is the best choice.Before i got Lt's i called LG,Kooks & checked out this great forum & i went with Ar's 1 3/4" The only mods on my 08 is a com cam,K&N & Borla Stringers & it tuned out to 553HP to the fly.(not 100%) wanted to keep it safe.But it's your call...Good Luck

After your explanation you should follow up, do the right thing and give the rwhp.

Because RWH to FLY is just an estimate, not exact.
