Default 2005 Water Pump Brand?

Hi,

I need a new water pump for my 2005 and I need some advise on which one to get. I'm not looking for performance increase or something decorative, just to work like the original. I have found most places online sell 3: AC Delco, GMB, and Bosch. I called one place and asked if there was any difference and the guy looked through their history and found several returns for the Bosch and GMB saying they didn't actually fit. I'm wondering if he is right though because they are sold all over as a fit for the car. The GMB and Bosch are substantially cheaper.

I'm not limited to these 3 brands, so if anyone has advise on something different please tell me that as well. These are just what I see everywhere.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Shaun

Thanks for the responses so far. I would really like to know if there are other brands other than the AC Delco that will work. Does anybody know about those?

Evans pumps makes a hi output water pump and you can install a different size pulley they also provide to improve lower rpm water circulation

If there is a rebuilt one from Rayloc (a NAPA brand), that is what I would do. The bearings and seals will be higher quality than the OEM pump.
