Hello,

Quick question...

Are the upper/lower control arms and spindles the same from a C6 to a C6Z?

Can the suspension from a C6 fit on a C6Z. I don't see any difference at all.

They should be interchangeable.I do know the springs,shocks,sways are.I hope this helps a little.

The rear upper control arms are not interchangeable. And they are both C6s

Here's a picture of the rear of a base C6. Note the way the upper control arms are attached to the frame - i.e., there are bolts going fore/aft through some flanges welded to the frame:




Below is the Z06 suspension. You can see the way the upper control arms are attached - the mounting bolts go straight into the frame through those "dogbone" mounts (the rear of the Z06 actually attaches the upper control arms in an identical manner as they are attached in the front of both the base and Z06):

The actual aluminum portion of the control arm
Is the same. If you ordered a poly bushing kit for a non Z car, you can install them in a Z car arm and put them on a non z

Other than that, everything will be the same ( except shocks, springs, swaybars are interchangeable, but rates and stiffnesses are different.)
