I tried to search, but can't seem to find the answer. All four tires are wearing on the inside with just 2000 miles. I read were Chevrolet set it up this way for aggressive handling, but I am more concerned with getting some miles out of my tires. Can anyone point me in the right direction to a set of specs for this car that will help with normal street use and tire wear?
I thought I had a bookmark for that info., but I can't find it.
Here's the information I saved that was posted here by Pfadt Race Engineering for 100% street use and this is what I had my alignment set to when I got my used 08 a few months ago that seem to have more tread worn than I would have liked.
Front
Camber = -0.8 deg.
Caster = 8.0 deg.
Toe = 0.0 in.
Rear
Camber = -0.5 deg.
Toe = 0.0 in.
EDIT: Okay, I found the Pfadt document that agrees with what I posted above.
Hey guys. If you're looking for a solid alignment spec that works really well for our street car customers take a look at our alignment guide.
Thanks for posting the guide you had access too Jim. We've done a few updates to make it a little easier for folks on different alignment equipment to dial in a great alignment setting. Our new alignment guide can be found here: Pfadt Race Engineering Alignment Guide
All the settings are the same, the new document just includes a little more information for the techs who may be working on different alignment equipment!

Its funny that you mention that. I took your guide to my local dealership and they acted like they couldnt do it because they didnt have the ride height specs. I told them to keep it at stock ride height and set the camber and toe hte way the guide dictates. Then they acted like the extra camber up front had to be for some special suspension setup. I ended up having to just tell them to make the f/r ratios the same as factory but with maxed out camber. I dont know if they were just inexperienced and didnt know what to do, or if they were lieing thinking they knew better...
