I am taking out my light so i can install my airbrushed liner that I got from Steve. I am having some difficulty removing the wiring from the light which appears to have a blue connector. is there a special way to take this clip off or would it be easier to just move down a couple of inches and cut then tape the wires

There is a connector between the frame rail and the radiator. It can be a real pain to get apart as there is only room to get one hand in there and the connector kind of sticks together.

IMHO, taking that connector apart is always preferable to cutting a wiring harness.
