Oil Pressure question on 2012 GS
I have an automatic with paddle shifters. Normal driving pressure is between about 37 - 50, depending on whether I'm on or off the gas. When I floor it, it goes to 80, which is as far as the gauge goes. Is that normal when you get on the gas hard? Or should it max out at lower level?

i have a manual GS with the dry sump and i see 70-80 all the time, especially when the oil has yet to reach normal operating temps. Yours seems a bit high to me being a non dry sump. I would check the oil level and if it still bothers you take it to the dealer, or better yet go drive another GS with auto and see if the oil pressures live in the same area.
