Default LG Drop Spindles

Got a set of LG Drop Spindles coming for my 2012 Centennial GS. Has anyone here installed a set? Is it easy (I do most of my own work and know my way aroud a car)? Anything to look out for? Installation looks to be pretty straight. Thanks in advance!

You might get a better response in the AutoX/Roadracing section:

Just as an update to this install, if anyone is thinking about installing these yourself, they are a piece of cake. Litterally unbolt the old ones and bolt on the new ones. Special tools needed:

34mm deep well for the rear axle nuts
T55 torx drive (get an impact one, 1/2" drive) for the hubs. Will definately need a good strong 1/2" impact gun to break these loose.

Thanks!

How are these in daily driving? If you have already given your impressions on these, can you provide me with the link. Thanks.

Street driving is just fine. Other than the need to be careful with curbs, inclines, speed bumps, etc. due to the low ride height, I dont notice any difference. I hit the lower air dam if I hit a dip in the road, but that doesnt bother me at all. Magnetic ride suspension works exactly as it did when at stock ride height.

I am very glad I installed these. They do exactly what I was hoping for; reduced ride height for a better look (IMO) without decreasing the effective shock travel, keeping the suspension geometry correct, and not adversely affecting the ride comfort.

Thank you for the update and review. Did you end up installing these yourself? IfsIf, how difficult where they to install?

Yes I installed them myself. Very straight forward installation. You'll need a 1/2" impact gun (electric or air - I used an electric one I bought from of all places Harbor Freight LOL!) Unbolt the old ones, bolt in the new ones, get an alignment, burn hole in Ozone layer (in that order)
