Default Intermittent Seat Warmers

I just bought a 2009 C6. I am in love with the car, but have noticed a small problem. The seat warmers are intermittent. Occasionally, the are inoperative. Any ideas? When they are inoperative, it is both seats. But like I said, they are intermittent. When they work, they are great.

My drivers seat was doing that on my '08 coupe. Just worked when it wanted to. I took it to the dealer 3 times and everytime it would work for them, then I would get it home and it start acting crazy again. Dealer told me to just wait till it stopped all together and bring it back. I did and this time it threw a code and they changed the control unit. It has work every since.

Covered under warranty.

I am a computer/network tech and know how hard it is to fix a problem that comes and goes.

Good luck

I had something similar to that a year back.....My passenger side wouldnt work the indicator light wouldnt illuminate after pressing in the on mode..I pulled off the side of the front bezel just enough to shine a flash light in there and wouldnt you know it the wire harness connected to the on/off switch was disconnected. plugged it back in a bingo she works again.... I remember the previous owner told me that the ashtray door was sticking and so he would have it replaced at the Dealer before I bought it....

Looks like those clowns at the dealer must have knocked it off when putting things back together after fixing the door

no suggestions on how to fix it, but I would take it to the dealer if you still have warranty so that the complaint is logged before the warranty runs out.
